Job description

The Easton Newberry Archery Center is a state-of-the-art archery center, featuring indoor and outdoor ranges, and world-class training facilities. The center provides leadership, facilities, programs, training, and education that allows archers to pursue their competitive dreams.
Hours: Part-time including weekdays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Compensation: $15-16 Hourly DOE

Key Responsibilities:
Archery Program Duties:
  • Effectively run entry level programs
    • Embody the Easton Foundation program's principles of fun, community, and balance
    • Coach entry and basic level programs
    • Assist with upkeep, maintenance, and organization of archery program equipment
    • Aid in program engagement tracking
    • Assist with the execution of group events
    • Assist with all other archery programs and activities as needed

Event Duties:
  • Assist with the development, logistics and execution of center events
    • Willingness to train under Easton Foundation's event best practices
    • Assist in the setup and breakdown of center events and activities
    • Act as tournament judge when needed
    • Assist with event scoring
    • Event registration
    • Process payments
    • Assist in event outreach efforts
    • Assist with event marketing
    • Timely execution of tasks assigned

Key Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to obtain level 2 USA Archery instructor certification (training provided)
  • Willingness to obtain USA Archery judging certification (training provided)
  • Willingness to obtain CPR, First-Aid, etc., (training provided).
  • Be able to safely operate common power and hand tools.
  • Must be able to work well with children, adults, and special needs persons.
  • Must be able to work all scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and
  • Work non-standard hours as needed.
  • Ability to lift targets and other items of a heavy nature averaging 50 pounds in weight and other physical functions as needed.
  • Maintain good attendance on the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
