Job description

PLEASE NOTE: Salary is dependent on experience. Yamhill County typically hires between steps 1-4 Yamhill County Health and Human Services, Community Support Services Division has one regular, full-time position for a HHS Supervisor 2 to lead Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Supported Employment & Education and Habilitative Services teams. The position affords a unique opportunity for a diverse array of duties in support of community-based, recovery-oriented services.

In this position you will be responsible for program evaluations, teaching professional techniques and skills, and providing consultation and information around activities encompassing a wide spectrum of community agencies and professional disciplines. Your regular duties in the role will include providing primary clinical and administrative supervision to the Human Services staff, this includes oversight of service delivery in accordance with a fidelity model, referral screening and case load assignments, providing leadership assistance to the Program Manager, as well as developing and navigating relationships with local and state partners around program services and supports. HHS is a National Health Service Corp (NHSC) and Oregon Office of Rural Health approved site for candidates seeking loan repayment opportunities. THIS IS A NON-BARGAINING POSITION. The Benefits: Yamhill County offers generous employee benefits: 15 paid holidays per year.

19.5 days of Flexible Earned Time (FET) accrual in the first year (based on an 8-hr day).* PERS (Public Employee Retirement System) - 100% employer funded contributions. Full health benefit offerings with employee premiums starting as low as $70.18/month for PPA or $0/month for HMO during current plan year 2025-2026. * Additional benefits for HHS employees: $750 and 40 hours of paid time annually for professional development/training

Most positions are eligible to accrue overtime.* *Subject to the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement (7/1/2023 - 6/30/2026). The Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field. Five years of relevant experience with progressive responsibilities in program administration or supervision is required

Graduate level course work and training may be substituted for up to two years' experience. Must be credentialed as a QMHP, LCSW, LPC or LMFT with two years of experience to meet clinical supervisor eligibility requirements under the Oregon Health Authority. Will be subject to a background check.

The Candidate: The successful candidate must be able to do the following: identify precipitating events, gather family histories, perform social and work relationship assessments, conduct mental status examinations, document a five-axis diagnosis, write and implement treatment plans, conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, and provide individual, family, and group therapy. Additionally, they will be a high-energy, mission-oriented leader who exhibits excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing who possesses excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, effective problem-solving skills, flexibility, and an ability to learn County policies and procedures quickly. They must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work and interact with staff, clients, and members of the public in a courteous, professional manner.
