Milton Martial Arts World Academy – Milton, ON

For over 35 years, Milton Martial Arts World Academy has been a leader in providing high-quality martial arts, character education, and after-school enrichment programs for children and families in our community. Our programs combine the values of martial arts with engaging academic and recreational activities, helping children grow in confidence, discipline, respect, and focus.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated After School Program and Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to positively influence the lives of children while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:15pm – 6:30pm
  • Weekly Hours: 20–22 hours per week
  • Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent
  • Pay Rate: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage school-aged children in after-school activities
  • Plan and lead structured, fun, and educational programs (arts, crafts, games, sports, homework support, martial arts basics)
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
  • Maintain an inclusive and positive environment that supports children’s growth and development
  • Communicate with families and colleagues to support each child’s needs

Qualifications

  • Diploma or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care, Education, or a related field (ECE an asset but not required)
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check (required upon hire)
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge in Taekwondo/Karate (asset, but not necessary)
  • Experience with Google Workspace, AI tools, and CRM
  • Must be living in Milton or be willing to relocate.
