Job description

At Reflect, you will be expected to move fast, have a lot of ownership and, most importantly, be able to effect change. If this excites you, we are interested in hearing about your best work and accomplishments across any domain and from any points in your life.
About the Role
We're looking for a scrappy, hands-on Marketing Associate to help build Reflect Orbital's public presence as we bring the world's first sunlight-on-demand satellite constellation to life. You'll run our day-to-day social channels, support events, create marketing materials, and help manage our website design. You'll work closely with our Chief Strategy Officer and leadership to tell the story of a technology that's never existed before.
This is a high-visibility, fast-moving role for someone who wants real ownership over how the world first hears about Reflect Orbital.
Responsibilities
  • Own and run day-to-day social media channels: content calendar, posting, community engagement, and growth
  • Support the planning and execution of events, launches, conferences, and demos, from logistics through on-the-ground support
  • Create marketing materials: decks, one-pagers, launch assets, social graphics, and more
  • Help manage and maintain website design and content, working with engineering and product teams as needed
  • Draft and edit copy for announcements, campaigns, and press moments
  • Track the performance of social and marketing efforts and iterate based on what's working
  • Work with PR to help coordinate with press, partners, and creators on external-facing moments
  • Support the business development team on creating customer facing materials
  • Maintain brand consistency across all public-facing materials
  • Generate visual content consistently in the form of photo and video assets
  • Continuously look for creative ways to grow awareness of Reflect Orbital's mission
Ideal Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related field, ideally at a startup or fast-moving team
  • Strong writer and communicator with an eye for visual design
  • Comfortable running social channels end-to-end: strategy, content, and execution
  • Scrappy and action-biased, comfortable figuring things out without a playbook (there isn't one, no one has marketed satellites that redirect sunlight before)
  • Basic familiarity with website design tools (Webflow) a plus
  • Familiarity with using Figma
  • Highly organized, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without dropping details
  • Genuinely excited about space, energy, and building something that's never been done before

Even if you don't meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you. Hiring exceptional individuals is our #1 priority, and we believe that exceptional people often have highly unusual backgrounds.
We are also interested in carving out unique roles for unconventional people that we are excited about working with.
Benefits
Reflect Orbital's success will hinge on our team, which is why our compensation and benefits plan is designed to reward our employees and support their families as generously as we're able.
  • Broad choice of medical/dental/vision coverage, Reflect covers 100% of each base-policy
  • Access to HSA, FSA, and 401K
  • Unlimited paid time off, two-weeks per year encouraged
  • Healthy lunches provided daily
Equal Opportunity
Reflect Orbital is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with Reflect Orbital is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.
