FULL TIME HOURLY LEAD TEACHERINFANT - PRE K @ GIBBS COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER Seeking Individuals who will...Serve as a warm, attentive role model for children by guiding through simple, positive examples, encouraging safe exploration and early healthy habits, and ensuring a safe, responsive environment that meets the needs of each child.Be a part of an amazing team of YMCA staff focused on teaching teamwork and social skills and supporting children as they grow and learn!Want to make a difference through their work in a caring, educational setting that is rooted in the mission of the YMCA, a non-profit charity organization. Minimum Qualifications:Associates degree or higher in education or related field or CPL level 3 or above preferred (CDA accepted)Ability to pass a background checkAt least 18 years oldHigh school diploma/GED (required) Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Early childhood classroom experience, including lesson planning & conducting assessmentsDemonstrates knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice Benefits:Competitive benefit package including 85% paid medical, dental and vision.
