Overview:
The Kids Mental Health Foundation Content Marketing Intern will support strategic communications that advance our mission of providing free children's mental health resources.
The intern will:
  • Write, edit and proofread content for blogs, websites, email newsletters and educational resources
  • Develop impactful stories that showcase the Foundation's programs and community impact
  • Assist with content project management and coordination
  • Research mental health topics, industry trends and audience insights
  • Track and report digital and social media performance metrics
  • Support marketing campaigns, community events and outreach initiatives
  • Contribute ideas and collaborate with the team to achieve organizational goals

Job Description Summary:
Assists in the development and implementation of programs and projects to support the organization's strategic initiatives.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
  • Gathers and analyzes data. Runs pre-defined queries and formats reports as appropriate.
  • Compiles and builds presentation materials to support projects, showcases new initiatives, reports data findings or other related information.
  • Attends weekly group development sessions and actively participates in all NCH intern events.
  • Applies strategic, system-level thinking and operational excellence techniques for problem solving.
  • Performs some clerical office coordination and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborates directly with manager and provides recommendations to improve department or business unit.

Education Requirement:
Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program, preferred.

  • Proficiencyin MS Office.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks.

  • Displays a positive presence and interacts with all levels of staff, outside vendors, consultants, and physicians.

Experience:
Previous workexperience in the medical field, preferred.
