Community Housing Partners (CHP) is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant II to join the opening team of an exciting new construction affordable housing community just 20 minutes outside Washington, DC.

This isn't your typical leasing position. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced lease-up environment, enjoys developing creative marketing strategies, and loves turning prospects into residents. If you're energized by building occupancy from the ground up and want to be part of a brand-new team, this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our lease-up team, you'll help establish a vibrant new community by:

  • Driving leasing activity from first inquiry through move-in
  • Developing and executing local marketing and outreach strategies to generate qualified traffic
  • Conducting engaging apartment tours and closing leases
  • Building relationships with local employers, businesses, and community organizations to increase visibility
  • Managing social media, resident referrals, outreach events, and marketing initiatives
  • Maintaining audit-ready files and completing affordable housing certifications and recertifications
  • Partnering with maintenance and property management to ensure homes are move-in ready
  • Delivering exceptional customer service that creates lasting resident relationships
We're Looking For Someone Who
  • Has 2+ years of successful leasing experience, preferably including new construction or lease-up communities
  • Has a proven ability to market apartments and achieve aggressive occupancy goals
  • Is outgoing, energetic, and confident closing leases
  • Enjoys networking, community outreach, and relationship building
  • Understands affordable housing programs or is eager to learn
  • Has experience with Yardi, RentCafe, or similar property management software
  • Is highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
