Your Role:

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for creating fresh and delicious artisan bread and treats that our community loves. Our bakers start their day early, transforming an empty kitchen into a vibrant bakery filled with the delightful aromas of freshly baked goods. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about bread-making and eager to learn, regardless of their previous experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with a small team to bake a variety of products from scratch each morning, adhering to our carefully crafted recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Read production schedules and recipes, measure and mix ingredients, mold and shape dough, and operate baking equipment.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • Early risers who can start shifts as early as 2:00 AM.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn, regardless of previous experience.
  • Team players with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to producing high-quality baked goods while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the bakery.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 22 kg (50 lbs).
  • Frequent reaching, bending, and turning while performing baking tasks.
  • Constant use of hands for mixing, shaping, and operating baking equipment.
