Position Level: N/A
Working Hours and/or Working Conditions: HOURS: To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 29 per week.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent writing and verbal skills and the ability to follow precise procedures are required. High degree of accuracy required. May formulate project plans involving several departments. May be involved in the planning and implementation of projects. May be directly involved with agencies or persons outside of the college. May be required to use IIS system, Word, Excel and Outlook. Use of advanced technical equipment and the ability to manage time and people may be required.
Supervision: SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Takes direction from the Fund Development Manager.SUPERVISION GIVEN: May direct part-time staff as assigned.
Job Function
Provide technical support with projects, events, and activities related to the Foundation Office.

- A current student at Macomb Community College taking at least 6 credit hours.
- Currently have a work-study award given by Financial Aid.

Job Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Foundation staff as best determined by the Director of Foundation office
- Provide excel spreadsheets regarding reporting and informational data
- Maintain, organize and update reports that involve the scheduled events
- Assist with outreach activities related to the Foundation Office
- Assist with the preparation of reports and customized departmental data
- Correct and build departmental records
- Assist the Events Coordinator with the planning of workshops, events, and related activities.
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Provide written and verbal reports on scheduled and completed projects
-Support front desk duties of the Administrative Assistant as needed, including answering the office phone, greeting donors and other guests, unloading and organizing office supplies, making copies and scanning documents.
- Performs related duties as assigned
Education
High school graduate or GED equivalent. Some education including relevant course work in business, marketing, communications or graphic design and/or formal training in these areas preferred.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
