Job description

The Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will take place October 26 to November 1, 2026, at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, AR. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of the top 54 PGA TOUR Champions professionals in the Charles Schwab Cup playoffs competing for a purse of $2.3 million dollars. Benefitting various charitable organizations across Arkansas, the Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary:
This internship will focus on continuing the development of our volunteer program while making a lasting impact in the Little Rock community. This candidate will work directly with the Volunteer Coordinator and regularly interact with our volunteers. The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure, in a team environment, be keen to detail, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry.
Position Details:

  • Actively recruits, hires, trains, and retains volunteers to support the tournament
  • Assist individuals with registering to Trust Event Solutions, our volunteer registration portal
  • Attends and participates in community events, promoting the Simmons Bank Championship
  • Aid the Volunteer Coordinator with meetings, mailings, and uniform distribution
  • Assist in fulfillment of donated food for volunteers and staff during week of tournament
  • Work closely with Staff on the Volunteer Appreciation Party and procure giveaways
Qualified Applicants Must Have:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • Full availability during tournament week October 26 - November 1, 2026
  • Internships will run from August 24 - November 13, 2026
Eligibility:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application and throughout internship period while receiving academic credit
  • Applicants should reside near Little Rock or be willing to commute
  • A resume and cover letter should be submitted as an attachment with the application
