Program: ROADS | Brooklyn, NY 11207ย 

What You'll Do

As a Children's Room Specialist Intern, youโ€™ll work with our Children and Youth Services Program serving children aged 2 and up who obtain support at the Brooklyn Family Justice Center. Participating in and facilitating appropriate early childhood and school-aged activities. Youโ€™ll also participate in community outreach, service linkages, and other resources for the children in our program.

Some of the activities youโ€™ll lead are:

  • STEM projects
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Computer literacy
  • Homework help and education support
  • Development of life skills

Youโ€™re a great fit for this role if you:

  • Are creative, responsible, patient, kind, and caring.
  • Enjoy working with children.ย ย

  • Have a valid US driverโ€™s license (preferred).
