Assistant Community Development Director – Housing & Homeless Services
City of Burbank, California

The City of Burbank is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and emotionally intelligent municipal leader to serve as its next Assistant Community Development Director – Housing & Homeless Services. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a recently established division and help shape housing and homelessness policy in one of Southern California's premier full-service cities.

Reporting to the Community Development Director, the Assistant Community Development Director will oversee the Housing Authority, affordable housing, Housing Choice Voucher, CDBG, and HOME programs, tenant protections, housing enforcement, and homeless services, and advance the City's housing priorities.

The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, sound judgment, political awareness, and exceptional relationship-building skills. Burbank seeks a trusted leader who combines experience in housing and homelessness with collaborative leadership, emotional intelligence, and a genuine commitment to public service.

Salary: $174,410.88 - $229,350.48, plus an excellent executive benefits package.
