• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ emotional, social, and behavioral needs, integrating insights from various stakeholders.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide individual and group counseling. This may involve addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal struggles, and trauma recovery.
• Develop and facilitate psychoeducation workshops aimed at both clients and family members to enhance understanding of mental health topics, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Implement intervention strategies based on individual assessments while tracking client progress and adapting therapeutic approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with local schools, community organizations, and families to develop comprehensive support plans and strategies for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention services during critical situations, conducting risk assessments, safety planning, and immediate counseling when necessary.
• Contribute to the development of mental health resources and toolkits for community engagement that promote awareness and prevention.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily serve a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and their families, as well as adults facing various mental health challenges. Understanding the unique cultural backgrounds and specific needs of our clients is paramount. Through a trauma-informed lens, you will help facilitate personal growth and resilience, directing clients towards improved emotional and psychological health.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution with a specialization relevant to clinical practice.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health principles, especially in context with adult and child development, behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage and connect with clients.

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a social worker or mental health counselor, particularly in a school or community health setting, is preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing interventions for a diverse client population.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes that enhance the wellbeing of clients.
