This full-time position allows for remote work, primarily focusing on school-based facilities. Regular working hours are implemented, with the potential for occasional evening and weekend hours to facilitate special events and programs aimed at engaging students and their families effectively.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and analyze the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students and their families in a school setting.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic counseling and support, both individually and in group settings, tailored to address various challenges faced by students.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans that reflect each client's unique goals and objectives, ensuring they align with educational and emotional needs.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to vital resources while addressing social justice issues relevant to the student population.
• Contribute to program development and evaluation processes, including grant reporting that reflects program efficacy and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with educational staff, community organizations, and government agencies to foster integrated support systems for students and their families.
• Engage actively in team meetings, professional training sessions, and community outreach activities to enhance program visibility and effectiveness.

This role primarily serves school-aged children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, including those facing emotional disturbances, trauma, and socio-economic challenges. Your expertise and compassion will empower these young individuals and their families to overcome obstacles and build resilience, ultimately fostering a healthier school environment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university is required.
• Possession of active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care methodologies and an understanding of social justice principles are essential to effectively support our clients.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills—all critical for establishing trust and fostering relationships with students and families.

• Prior experience working within a nonprofit organization or similar educational settings is highly desirable.
• Experience with social advocacy, community resources, and program development will be valued assets in this role.
• Familiarity with mental health policies and educational frameworks that influence student wellbeing is a plus.
