We are actively seeking an experienced Permanent Attorney for our thriving Legal Department. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team while working on a diverse range of real estate and community association matters. The successful candidate will have significant experience in handling real estate transactions, property law, homeowners association (HOA) matters, and condominium law. This role requires a deep understanding of governing documents, bylaws, covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&R), and association law. The candidate should also be well-versed in foreclosure processes, including judicial foreclosures, and have substantial litigation experience. This role will involve providing legal advice, serving in an advisory capacity, and acting as general and client counsel.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal counsel on a range of real estate matters, including transactions, disputes, and enforcement.
2. Handle HOA and condominium matters, interpreting and advising on governing documents, bylaws, and CC&Rs.
3. Represent clients in foreclosure proceedings, with a focus on judicial foreclosures.
4. Manage litigation cases, from initiation to resolution, including trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
5. Provide compliance advisory services, ensuring that all activities are in line with association law and other relevant regulations.
6. Act as general counsel, providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of issues.
7. Serve as client counsel, building strong relationships with clients and providing them with expert advice and representation.
8. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Lawyer or Property Attorney.
3. Experience with HOA, property associate, community associate, and condominium associate matters.
4. In-depth knowledge of governing documents, bylaws, CC&R, and association law.
5. Proven experience in foreclosure processes, particularly judicial foreclosures.
6. Extensive litigation experience, with a strong track record in dispute resolution and enforcement.
7. Demonstrated ability to provide compliance advisory services.
8. Experience serving as general counsel and client counsel.
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
11. Active membership in the state bar.
12. High ethical standards and professionalism in interactions with clients and colleagues.
