Brookside Properties is seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Community Manager to support operations across multiple apartment communities in the Sellersburg, Indiana market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leasing or property management professional looking to grow into a Community Manager role while gaining valuable multi-site experience.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of apartment industry or multifamily property management experience required
  • Leasing, collections, resident relations, or assistant manager experience preferred
  • Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Experience with Entrata or similar property management software preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations across multiple apartment communities
  • Assist with leasing, marketing, and resident retention initiatives
  • Help achieve occupancy, revenue, and delinquency goals
  • Process resident transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with rent collections and account management
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members
  • Conduct resident follow-up and provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and operational procedures
  • Assist Community Managers with reporting, inspections, and property performance initiatives
