  • Develop and maintain an internal communications calendar to ensure employees receive timely, coordinated, and relevant information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and strengthen connection across the organization.

  • Manage scheduling, preparation, briefing materials, talking points, and follow-up for executive interviews and appearances.
  • Support responses to inbound media inquiries and proactively identify opportunities to tell the company's story.

Industry Awards & Recognition

  • Manage the company's industry awards program, identifying relevant opportunities and maintaining a calendar of submission requirements and deadlines.
  • Lead the development and submission of compelling company, executive, product, and employee nominations in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Track submission outcomes and coordinate communications that promote award wins and recognition across internal and external channels.

Crisis & Change Communications

  • Support communications planning and execution for organizational changes,  leadership announcements, business disruptions, sensitive employee matters, and other high-impact situations.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders (executive leadership, HR, Marketing, Legal, etc.) to develop clear, timely, and thoughtful communications for employees, customers, partners, and external audiences as appropriate.
  • Develop messaging, FAQs, talking points, leadership communications, and communication plans for sensitive or rapidly evolving situations.
  • Help establish and maintain crisis communications plans, protocols, templates, and escalation processes so the organization is prepared to communicate quickly and effectively when needed.
  • Ensure internal and external messaging remains coordinated and consistent during periods of significant change.

Customer & External Communications

  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Support and other teams to develop customer-facing communications as needed.
  • Support communications related to major company announcements, product or business updates, events, organizational changes, and other initiatives that may impact customers or partners.
  • Ensure internal, customer, and external messaging is coordinated and consistent.

Reputation Management

  • Monitor employer-review and company platforms, including Glassdoor, Indeed, and Google, and coordinate timely, thoughtful responses with HR, Legal, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and report recurring feedback, sentiment trends, and emerging reputational risks, recommending appropriate communications or organizational actions.
  • Establish response guidelines and escalation protocols that ensure public communications are consistent, on-brand, and protective of employee, customer, and company confidentiality.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a close communications partner to Human Resources, helping plan and execute communications around key employee initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and teams throughout the organization to understand upcoming priorities and communication needs.
  • Provide communications counsel and recommendations to leaders, particularly for high-visibility, sensitive, or complex communications.
  • Help establish communications processes, standards, and best practices across the organization.

Requirements
