Your Role in Synergy's Success
The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications initiatives that promote Synergy's products, capabilities, and brand. This role partners with marketing, commercial, and cross-functional teams to develop content, support customer engagement activities, conduct market research, and deliver marketing programs that contribute to business growth and brand awareness.
How You Will Contribute
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Campaign Execution
  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
  • Create marketing materials including presentations, sales tools, and collateral.
  • Maintain content calendars and coordinate the timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Support trade show and event planning, coordination, and execution.

Market Research & Insights
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze and summarize findings in a clear, actionable format.
  • Support the development of insight-driven presentations and recommendations.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to marketing and commercial initiatives.

Customer Engagement & Presentations
  • Develop customer-facing presentations and supporting materials.
  • Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and internal presentations.
  • Present assigned content to internal and external audiences as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging with customer needs.

Brand & Communications
  • Apply Synergy brand guidelines across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Support the development and execution of corporate communication initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across marketing channels and materials.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, including design and print partners.

Digital Marketing & Performance
  • Support digital marketing activities including email campaigns, social media, and website updates.
  • Track campaign performance and compile results.
  • Contribute to reporting and identification of performance insights.
  • Utilize marketing and analytics tools to support marketing initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and R&D teams on shared initiatives.
  • Support the development of materials used by commercial teams.
  • Contribute to team projects and internal communication efforts.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting market research, content development, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Ability to develop customer-facing materials and effectively communicate ideas to internal and external audiences.
  • Experience within a B2B, food, beverage, or ingredient industry environment is preferred.
  • Technical & Functional Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, including email marketing platforms, social media channels, website content management systems and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
    • Working knowledge of marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
    • Familiarity with design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, is preferred.
    • Strong written communication, presentation development, and organizational skills.
