ProSidian Seeks a Communication Support Specialist - GSSC (Full-Time) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford.  Preferred candidates present with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal) - SCA Code: N/A.  This position is located in the . 

Communication Support Specialist - GSSC Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0119 RFQ FY22-SB12 Communication Support Swim Lanes and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal).  ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide support with external and internal communications and engagement Communication Support Services as part of general support services at the Hanford Site on behalf of The US Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) and Office of River Protection (ORP), DOE Hanford Office of Communications (HOC).

• Prepare, develop, coordinate, and update weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports and tracking tools for HOC, Hanford management, and Headquarters.
• Support the coordination of legal requests for Freedom of Information Act.
• Self-identification of areas of needed improvement in reporting processes and initiate helpful fixes for the weaknesses identified.
• Support the coordination of conference management duties, including tracking of conference attendees, note taking and capturing actions, updating the conference management tools, reporting attendee expenditure data upon completion and returning data. 
• Support internal and external communication activities to include coordinating meeting logistics, tour requests, and Speakers Bureau requests.

The Communication Support Specialist - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.  0  0

Education - BS/BA in communications or a related field of study

Experience

• One (1) year of relevant experience. 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Skilled in problem identification and resolution.
• Demonstrated familiarity or relevant experience with procedures. Experience with government procedures is preferred.
• Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID, a granted exception to vaccination for COVID, or able to meet entry and testing requirements for entrance and work in federal buildings.

TRAVEL:  Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.  Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.  LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to The Hanford Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area
