This role is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Vienna, Virginia, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology designed for advanced physical therapy treatments. The facility boasts an interactive atmosphere where therapists collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our regular working hours are Monday through Friday, with rotating shifts on weekends, allowing flexibility while ensuring patient care continuity.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine short-term and long-term physical therapy needs, setting personalized goals and treatment plans that align with the physician's orders.

• Implement and modify therapeutic interventions based on patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring documentation fulfills legal and professional standards.

• Actively supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment to enhance overall patient outcomes.

• Engage in regular communication with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate care and discuss patient progress, ensuring a seamless approach to rehabilitation.

• Utilize current best practices and evidence-based methodologies in physical therapy to deliver high-quality care and improve the health status of patients.

• Work closely with the Director to maintain productivity standards, suggest improvements, and contribute to a positive work atmosphere that prioritizes career development.

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population dealing with various conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and neurological disorders. Our facility is committed to addressing the unique needs of patients of all ages, promoting their independence and functional capabilities through tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• A current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Virginia is required.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy environment, demonstrating the ability to assess, plan, and implement treatment plans effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.

• Proficiency in standard word processing and electronic health record systems is required.

• Experience with specialized populations, such as geriatric patients or those with chronic pain, is highly valued.

• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in physical rehabilitation enhances your candidacy.

• Experience in a multidisciplinary team environment is preferred.

The compensation package for this Full-Time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
