About the Team This role sits within our Global Trust and Safety Communications Team. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Trust and Safety, Legal, and Public Policy to develop and execute global communications campaigns.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced communications professional to support our Trust & Safety storytelling around our e-commerce platform, TikTok Shop. This role will be critical in developing and executing global communications campaigns that proactively tell the safety story of TikTok Shop. Responsibilities - Global Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute communications campaigns that build brand trust and highlight our commitment to safety TikTok Shop. - Proactive Storytelling: Create blog posts, media pitches, and launch materials to amplify global announcements regarding our e-commerce initiatives. - Media Relations: Act as a primary contact for media on safety related issues, and train spokespeople for interviews, panel events and presentations. - Cross-Functional Counsel: Provide communications guidance and approvals to teams across the business, helping to communicate our commitment to safety across some other monetized products. - Crisis & Issue Management: Support the press office in managing media inquiries and communications regarding regulatory developments or policy escalations related to TikTok Shop

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or higher - 5+ years of experience in communications - Experience managing large-scale, multi-market campaigns from concept to execution. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical issues into easy-to-digest explanations - Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects - Experience in a press office or handling crisis communications. Preferred Qualifications: - Proven track record of leading consumer-facing campaigns for e-commerce platforms or monetization products. - Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures to adapt announcements for diverse global markets. - Highly analytical with the ability to use research to inform creative storytelling and mitigate reputation risk. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $198360 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
