Job description

Under the direction of the Vice President of Brand Marketing and Communications, the Manager of Communications and Copy at Foxwoods Resort Casino, you will support the strategic development and execution of communications that define and elevate our brand. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the day-to-day PR contact and lead copywriter, driving the integration of consumer and corporate PR initiatives to support the company's overarching business objectives. We are seeking an experienced communicator who brings not only exceptional storytelling ability but also a strategic mindset, someone who can connect insights across the organization, align PR efforts with broader goals, and deliver proactive, high-impact PR campaigns that advance our mission as a premier modern resort destination.  Bachelor degree in communications preferred with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience leveraging communications, media relations, thought leadership and brand storytelling, with a proven track record blending in-house and agency roles across both consumer and corporate communications landscapes.  Exceptional Writing and Messaging: Mastery in writing, editing, and messaging, with experience crafting high-level narratives and adapting content for multiple platforms and executive audiences.  Media Relations Expertise: Established relationships with key reporters and influencers and a history of securing influential media placements through well-orchestrated campaigns.  Strategic Insight & Curiosity: Strong critical thinker who proactively connects communications initiatives to business priorities, identifies emerging opportunities, and leverages insights for greater reach and resonance.  Data-Driven Storytelling: Proficient in analyzing metrics and trends to inform communications strategies and deliver data-backed, compelling narratives that support brand goals.  Managerial experience required.
