The Marketing Communications Intern supports the marketing team by assisting with content creation, website updates, social media, email campaigns, and event coordination. This role provides hands-on experience in marketing communications while helping maintain brand consistency and support lead generation efforts.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the creation and editing of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, email campaigns, website content, and social media posts.
- Support website updates and content management to ensure information is accurate and current.
- Assist with planning and coordination of trade shows, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support marketing initiatives.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
- Organize and maintain marketing assets, product literature, and promotional materials.
- Provide administrative support for marketing projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Current a junior or senior in college
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and proof reading abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) and email marketing tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and marketing metrics.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
