Job description

ABOUT THE POSITION: Weโ€™re looking for an Electronic Engineering Technician to join our Electronics Engineering team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with electronics and wants to grow alongside experienced technicians and engineers. In this hands-on role, youโ€™ll help build prototypes, test and evaluate products, troubleshoot electronic systems, and support new product development (NPD) from concept through production.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Youโ€™ll have a High School Diploma or GED, while an Associateโ€™s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology (or related field) is preferred. You have a strong aptitude for electronics and enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and learning new skills. Youโ€™re comfortable with basic electronic test equipment and tools, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, can read basic electrical schematics, and communicate effectively while working as part of a collaborative engineering team.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

You will EXPLORE by:

  • Supporting daily Engineering & NPD project tasks defined by Engineers, Designers, and other staff
  • Assisting with testing and evaluation of products and samples
  • Participating on problem solving teams using PDCA
  • Using standard methods for data collection and analysis as well as compiling technical reports

You will INNOVATE by:

  • Assisting in prototyping and building engineering samples and equipment
  • Assisting with Value Engineering project tasks
  • Participating on product and process improvement teams

You will PERFORM by:

  • Assisting in obtaining parts, materials, and equipment
  • Assisting Engineers, Designers, and other staff with process and documentation maintenance
  • Assisting in the analysis of parts and assemblies
