Reports To: Marketing Assistant Director
Effective Date: 7/14/2025
Position Summary:
This Communications Associate provides essential support to the Marketing Department by assisting with internal and external communication efforts that engage the community, patients, and staff. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, digital content creation, and community outreach, particularly within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing social media content, including creating posts, scheduling, and monitoring engagement across platforms.
• Capture and edit photography and video content from events, programs, and patient/community interactions.
• Support the development of marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, presentations, and newsletters.
• Help update and maintain content on the organization's website.
• Assist with planning and executing community outreach efforts and events.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns, brand awareness, and storytelling opportunities.
• Provide general administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team.
• Perform other duties as required to assist LCHC in achieving its mission.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
• Basic graphic design and video editing experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools preferred).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
