Weekend RN Supervisor

Saturday & Sunday | Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts

We are currently accepting applications for a Weekend RN Supervisor to join our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care.

This position is ideal for a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse who is committed to providing excellent resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining a positive and professional environment. The Weekend RN Supervisor will provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing operations each weekend.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
  • Long-Term Care experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be dependable and comfortable supervising nursing staff and resident care

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee the daily nursing care and clinical needs of residents each weekend
  • Supervise and provide leadership to nursing staff
  • Ensure resident care is provided according to established plans of care, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate follow-up and communication
  • Assist staff with clinical concerns and resident care needs
  • Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation
  • Promote a safe, professional, and resident-centered environment
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and administration
