TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Dialysis for a travel nursing job in Bryan, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

Minimum 2+ years recent Acute Care Dialysis RN experience / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA or APEX) Required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required / Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts (7a–7:30p; occasional 11a–11:30p rotation), 36 hrs/week, 12 weeks / Setting: Acute Care – Dialysis / EMR: MEDITECH / Patient Ratio: 1:1–2 (ICU & dialysis suite) / Skills: Acute hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis (REQUIRED – Baxter Home Choice), AVF/AVG cannulation, CVC access, dialysis complication management, catheter/site care, initiation & termination of PD / Patient Types: ESRD, acute renal failure (ICU + dialysis suite) / Drips: Heparin (titration), set-rate drips include amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone / Call: 1 night/week + every other Sunday (max) / Weekend: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule / Floating: First to float between Bryan & College Station campuses (16 mins apart) / Support: Monitor techs in suite, ICU support with RT & ICU RN / Additional: Must be reliable (call-outs discouraged), may precept, no recent employment with CommonSpirit/Dignity/CHI within past 1 year / Dress Code: Navy scrubs / Orientation: Unit-based orientation /
