Job Summary:

As a Commodity Trader specializing in building materials, you will leverage your market knowledge and analytical skills to manage and optimize the purchasing and selling of building materials. You will be responsible for developing and executing trading strategies, conducting market analysis, and building strong relationships with suppliers and customers to maximize profitability and minimize risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Cultivate new opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Inventory management & forecasting
  • Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain dynamics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in building materials commodity trading
  • Strong sales experience
  • Strong understanding of commodity markets, pricing strategies, and risk management processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Building material product knowledge required
