Deloitte is seeking a Manager - Commodity Solutions to support solution architecture and delivery for commodity trading and risk management transformations. In this role, you will help clients align business requirements, process design, and technology capabilities across complex Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) programs. The ideal candidate brings RightAngle implementation experience, strong commodities domain knowledge, and the ability to support delivery across trading, risk, scheduling, or settlement workstreams.

  • Support solution design and implementation for commodity trading and risk management programs, with a focus on RightAngle-enabled business and technology transformations
  • Translate client requirements into functional designs, configuration approaches, process flows, and implementation deliverables across trading, risk, scheduling, or settlement domains
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to support design decisions, issue resolution, testing, and deployment activities
  • Contribute commodities domain knowledge across physical and financial trading workflows, including trade lifecycle processes, exposure management, transport operations, or settlement activities
  • Lead workstreams, guide junior practitioners, and support delivery quality across one or more RightAngle implementation phases

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a similar field
  • 7+ years of experience in commodity trading and risk management solutions, including 1+ RightAngle full lifecycle implementation
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: trading, risk management, scheduling, or settlement
  • Experience with RightAngle functions such as deal capture, position management, mark-to-market, nomination workflows, transport management, invoice generation, or reconciliation
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional designs, process flows, or system configuration requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Ability to travel 75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting physical and financial trading workflows for gas, power, crude, or refined products
  • Experience with futures, forwards, swaps, options, or basis trades
  • Experience with Value-at-Risk, exposure management, scenario analysis, or hedge effectiveness processes
  • Experience with pipeline nominations, transportation contracts, storage management, or balancing workflows
  • Experience with settlement, accruals, revenue recognition, or hedge accounting processes in commodity trading environments

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
