Geriatric Medicine Associates

Geriatric Nurse Practitioner-Lakewood/Westminster Co

The Practice:Independent group practice of 13 physicians and one geriatric nurse practitioner seeks a geriatric nurse practitioner to join our established outpatient geriatric clinic. The positionwill split the practice days between our Lakewoodand Westminster offices. This position offers competitive salary and benefits. No call obligations. Epic EMR. Great work environment.

The Community:Clinics are Located in the suburbs of Denver, CO and close to great biking, hiking and various entertainment venues. This community is touted as one of the best destinations in Colorado to raise a family and is recognized nationally by Forbes as one of the top places to move in the country.

The Position:

Performs a comprehensive patient health assessment, including health history, annual wellness visits

Orders, administers and analyzes diagnostic tests.

Performs advanced technical procedures.

Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with physicians and other health care providers as appropriate.

Maintains accurate, legible and confidential records.

Trains patients and families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention.

Develops and maintains a good working relationship with the healthcare team.

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):

Possess current, valid licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Colorado Board of Nursing from the Colorado Medical Board

Valid Prescriptive Authority in the State of Colorado

Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification

Job Schedule:Full time

Workdays:4 days a week.

Salary Range:95-132k
