Designer/Cabinet Sales Consultant
Location: Campbell, CA 95008

• Salary: 100-140K with a Straightforward 15% commission on total sales

We are hiring a seasoned residential Designer who can turn trust, taste, and follow-through into signed projects. This is not an entry-level training seat. This is a high-trust, remote-first sales/design role for someone who has already built client
confidence in residential interiors, cabinetry, remodeling, construction, luxury home improvement, or installed products.
 
THE DIFFERENCE:

• Straightforward commission. Earn 15% of total sales, calculated directly from the sale - no tiers, post-sale reductions, or moving targets
• Qualified leads, not self-generation. Qualified leads are provided, and three high-end Bay Area showrooms give you a professional setting to build relationships and present designs
• A design-centered, three-step close. Guide clients through discovery, design, and proposal review rather than pushing for an on-the-spot kitchen-table decision. We prioritize quality design over pressure selling, and we do not discount - the quoted price is the price
• Support behind every proposal. In-house CAD and pricing assistance help you design and quote with confidence. An experienced installation team has helped earn 500+ 5-star Yelp reviews
• Local manufacturing and fast resolution. Local production keeps answers close and makes same-day issue resolution possible when questions arise
• Autonomy backed by experience. Own your schedule and sales process while working alongside professionals with an average tenure of 14.4 years

 
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

• Client relationships from first conversation to signed proposal
• Consultative discovery, showroom or virtual presentations, home visits, and proposal walkthroughs
• Custom storage and cabinetry solutions that balance beauty, function, budget, and execution
• Clean CRM discipline, fast follow-up, proposal movement, and next-step ownership
• Client communication through budget questions, revisions, objections, and decision points
• A complete handoff so the project sold can become the project delivered

 
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

• You build a $1MM sales cadence through trust, urgency, clean follow-up, and strong proposal conversion
• Clients feel heard, guided, and confident - never pressured or passed around
• Your designs are thoughtful, buildable, polished, and clearly better than a commodity closet quote
• Your pipeline is current, your next steps are visible, and your remote work is easy to trust
• You protect and uphold our standards: exceptional design, expert craftsmanship, and 5-star execution

 
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• A proven residential design, closets, remodeling, construction, luxury home improvement, or installed products professional
• A seasoned client-facing track record; 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred, but proof matters more than a number
• A strong closer who still cares deeply about the design, the details, the customer, and the handoff
• Comfort working remotely with visible accountability, CRM discipline, and fast client follow-up
• Technology comfort: CRM, Microsoft Office, design/rendering tools, pricing systems, and digital presentation tools
• Reliable transportation, ability to meet Bay Area clients virtually, at homes, and in the Campbell showroom when appropriate

 
COMPENSATION AND DETAILS:

• Straightforward 15% commission calculated directly on total sales - no tiers, post-sale reductions, or moving targets
• Benefits: 401(k), auto/phone support as applicable, and showroom/jobsite meetings as needed
• Target: $1MM+ annual sales pace within the second year
