Lead HVAC Technician Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial and residential HVAC systems.

Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Supervise field service activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs while maintaining high safety standards.

Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and address urgent equipment failures promptly.

Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for all facets of HVAC systems, installations and equipment repair techniques.

Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and work orders to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Lead HVAC/R Technician Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in residential and commercial HVAC.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems.

Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately.

Demonstrated field service expertise with a focus on appliance repair, maintenance routines, and emergency troubleshooting.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
