Key Responsibilities:

  • Deeply involved in the design, testing and integration of Space systems ground integration efforts.
  • Conducts risk assessment and provide recommendations for system design.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
  • Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, reviews architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis and relates existing system to future needs and trends.
  • Provides engineering recommendations and resolves integration/testing issues.
  • Plan and execute testsof software, hardware, and network systems to verify compliance with specifications, security policies, and operational requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive test plansand scenarios, including developmental, integration, interoperability, and operational testing.
  • Analyze test resultsand translate data into actionable evaluative conclusions, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Validate requirements for testabilityand ensure test strategies align with organizational goals.
  • Manage test infrastructure, resources, and personnelto support test events and reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver test reportsand recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support Integration, Verification, Validation and Testing (IVV&T)
  • Coordinate and review Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and verification products, supporting systems test activities
  • Support Space Systems Launch Readiness Planning and Integration


Required Qualifications:

  • 5 -10 Years of relevant experience in software/hardware testing, systems integration, penetration testing roles; Space System experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
  • Able to apply technical expertise, and may have knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Work is performed under limited direction.
  • Exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
  • Proficiency in Integration, Verification, Validation and Testing (IVV&T)
  • Experience with test event design, data analysis, and test plan development.
  • Skills in systems integration testingand interoperability testing.
  • Ability to determine appropriate test rigorfor different systems
  • Completed work may be reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective, for desired results.
  • No formal supervisory responsibility.

Basic Compensation:

$120- 160K

This range is for Californiaonly

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

  • Working Hours:Standard 40 hours per week

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
