Job description

Neurology Subspecialist opening - Cooperstown, NYLocated at base of the Adirondack Mountains*Seeking a full-time Neurologist to build a sub-specialized practice in one of the following areas: Neuromuscular, Seizure, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders or Headache.*Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Hospital employed
  • Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting
  • Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program
  • Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in specialty
  • Mostly in-person outpatient clinics with opportunities for some remote tele-neurology.
  • Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching IM Residents and Medical Students
  • Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester
  • Very limited call; 2-4 days per month
  • Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
  • EMR-EPIC
  • Salary Range: $240,000 - $340,000. This compensation range represents good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
  • Health system offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

  • MD, DO or MBBS
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
