Job description

PEDIATRIC SPORTS PHYSICAL THERAPIST

We are seeking a Pediatric Sports Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping children and adolescents return to play safely and confidently. This role focuses on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries in pediatric and teenage athletes within a supportive, growth-oriented private practice.

The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with families, coaches, and interdisciplinary providers while delivering evidence-based, sport-specific care in a fun, motivating environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric and adolescent patients with sports-related and orthopedic conditions
  • Develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans focused on injury prevention, performance, and return to sport
  • Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and safe return-to-play guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals as needed

Olympic Sports & Spine (OSS) is looking to welcome a Pediatric Sports Physical Therapist to our outstanding South Hill clinic.

Hours are Monday - Friday 4x10s or 5x8s between 7:20 AM - 6:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1. Degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
  • 2. Current Washington State Physical Therapist License (or license applicant status).
  • 3. Pediatrics, sports, or orthopedic clinical experience
  • 4. Background in athletics, coaching, or youth sports
  • 5. Strong communication skills with children, teens, and caregivers
  • 6. Ability to motivate young athletes and adapt treatment for developmental levels

Preferred (but not required):

  • SCS, CSCS, or working toward specialty certification
