Job description

We are seeking a Pediatric Sports Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping children and adolescents return to play safely and confidently. This role focuses on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries in pediatric and teenage athletes within a supportive, growth-oriented private practice.
The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with families, coaches, and interdisciplinary providers while delivering evidence-based, sport-specific care in a fun, motivating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric and adolescent patients with sports-related and orthopedic conditions
- Develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans focused on injury prevention, performance, and return to sport
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and safe return-to-play guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals as needed
Hours are Monday - Friday 4x10s or 5x8s between 7:20 AM - 6:00 PM.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1. Degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
- 2. Current Washington State Physical Therapist License (or license applicant status).
- 3. Pediatrics, sports, or orthopedic clinical experience
- 4. Background in athletics, coaching, or youth sports
- 5. Strong communication skills with children, teens, and caregivers
- 6. Ability to motivate young athletes and adapt treatment for developmental levels
- SCS, CSCS, or working toward specialty certification
