Purchasing Manager/Sourcing Site Lead
The Purchasing Manager / Sourcing Site Lead is responsible for leading site-level purchasing and sourcing activities in support of operational performance, supplier execution, cost management, and supply continuity. This role partners closely with site leadership and enterprise sourcing teams to ensure supplier strategies, contracts, procurement processes, and day-to-day purchasing activities are executed effectively and in compliance with company expectations.
What You Will Do at Graco
Sourcing and Procurement Execution
  • Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers that support site and enterprise requirements.
  • Manage RFQs, RFPs, sourcing events, supplier evaluations, and award recommendations.
  • Support supplier engagement for engineering changes, new product launches, standard product updates, and end-of-life planning.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews, development plans, risk assessments, and business review meetings.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to support make-versus-buy analysis, resolve supplier-related product, quality, and rework issues.
  • Partner with enterprise sourcing teams to align local supplier decisions with category strategies.

Commercial & Contract Management
  • Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, terms, tooling, material liability, renewals, and other commercial requirements.
  • Support contract development, approval, documentation, and renewal activities in partnership with enterprise sourcing team, Legal, and Finance.
  • Use should-cost, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analysis to support sourcing and pricing decisions.

Supply Continuity & Cross-Functional Support
  • Prioritize supplier capacity, critical purchase orders, and recovery actions to protect production schedules.
  • Lead supplier escalations and communicate material risks, constraints, and mitigation plans.
  • Work with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and other stakeholders to resolve supply issues.

What You Will Bring to Graco
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, operations, or a related function.
  • Experience leading supplier management, commercial negotiations, cost improvement, and cross-functional procurement activities.
  • Experience working with ERP-enabled procurement processes, purchasing data, sourcing events, and supplier performance management.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Accelerators
  • MBA, advanced degree, or professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM or CPM.
  • Experience supporting global industrial manufacturing, engineering, quality, or new product development environments.
  • Experience with procurement systems such as Oracle, Excel, PowerBI, or similar tools.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
