Do you take pride in making vehicles look their best? We're looking for experienced, hardworking detailers to join our growing mobile operation — bringing top-tier detailing directly to customers across West Michigan. You'll work on cars, boats, and RVs, from maintenance details to full paint corrections and ceramic coatings, all from our fully equipped mobile van.

Pay & Benefits

  • $16 – $18 per hour base, plus commission
  • 401(k) with company match

What You'll Work On

  • Cars and trucks
  • Boats
  • RVs and motorhomes

Responsibilities

  • Detail interiors and exteriors on cars, boats, and RVs at customer locations
  • Buff, polish, and perform paint correction as needed
  • Clean windows, trim, wheels, carpets, and upholstery
  • Maintain quality standards and represent the brand professionally at every stop
  • Manage supplies and keep the mobile van organized and ready

30-Day Paid Training Program

New hires complete a structured 30-day training program to learn our methods, standards, and expectations — so you hit the road ready to represent Preferred the right way. Topics include our detailing process and quality standards, paint correction and polishing, ceramic coatings, interior restoration, boat and RV-specific detailing, and mobile van operations.

As your skills grow, your earning potential grows too.

Requirements

  • Prior detailing experience required
  • Valid driver's license — you'll be driving our mobile van
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in varying conditions
