Job description

Description:

Take your body shop skills beyond the typical collision repair job.

If you take pride in making damaged vehicles look like new again, know your way around fiberglass and paint, and enjoy tackling repairs that aren’t exactly the same every day, we want to talk to you.

Colton RV & Marine is looking for a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll repair and restore damaged RVs using your experience with fiberglass, paint, body repair, aluminum, and more. RV repair brings a unique variety of projects and challenges, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, craftsmanship, and seeing the finished results of their work.

What You’ll Do

As a Body Shop Technician, you’ll play an important role in getting our customers’ RVs repaired properly and back on the road. You will:

  • Inspect incoming RVs and identify repairs needed
  • Complete preparation work according to repair specifications and written repair orders
  • Repair body damage using the appropriate tools, materials, and techniques
  • Perform fiberglass repair and shaping
  • Complete paint preparation, masking, and spraying
  • Perform aluminum metal work
  • Work collaboratively with the team to problem-solve and keep repairs on schedule
  • Maintain Colton and customer quality standards throughout the repair process
  • Follow required safety procedures, including OSHA guidelines and hazardous-waste disposal requirements
  • Assist with other body shop and repair needs as assigned
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, pays attention to the details, and wants to be part of a team focused on producing quality work.

Ideally, you bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous body shop or collision repair experience
  • Experience with fiberglass repair and shaping
  • Paint masking and spraying experience
  • Aluminum metal-working skills
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A willingness to problem-solve and work as part of a team
Why Bring Your Skills to Colton RV & Marine?

Working on RVs gives you the chance to use a much broader range of skills than you may find in a traditional collision environment. You'll work on different materials, repairs, and challenges while continuing to build your knowledge and expertise.

At Colton RV & Marine, we also believe in investing in our employees and creating opportunities to learn and grow.

What’s In It for You?

  • Medical and dental benefits
  • 401(k) match
  • Paid Time Off and holidays
  • Yearly profit-sharing bonus
  • Training and travel opportunities
