Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for real estate law? We're seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal in Buffalo, NY, to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play an essential part in facilitating real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, and supporting our attorneys in providing exceptional legal services. Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing real estate documents such as purchase agreements, leases, and title documents.
  • Conduct title searches and examine title insurance commitments.
  • Coordinate and schedule closings with clients, real estate agents, and lenders.
  • Maintain organized files for pending and closed transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
  • Prepare documents for filing with local and state agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties to gather necessary information.
  • Conduct market research and analyze relevant legal precedents.
  • Track deadlines and manage calendars for various real estate transactions.
  • Provide support in litigation matters related to real estate disputes, if necessary.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally in real estate law.
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions and legal terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and common legal software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
