Both roles require procurement knowledge but differ in their focus and work environment.

Is a commission purchasing agent a hard job?

A commission purchasing agent's job involves negotiating deals, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement, which can be challenging due to market fluctuations and the need for strong negotiation skills. The role often requires attention to detail, industry knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure, but it can also be rewarding for those with good communication and analytical abilities.

What degree do you need to be a commission purchasing agent?

A commission purchasing agent typically needs at least a high school diploma or equivalent; however, many employers prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
