Job description

Registered Nurse - Pain Center and PACU

Location: Details not specified.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pain Center and PACU. This role includes a local shift differential and requires floating to multiple units including SPU and Outpatient Surgery Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care in the Pain Center, including assisting in procedures within two procedure rooms and five office rooms.
  • Manage pre and post-operative care for patients.
  • Monitor patients undergoing moderate sedation and other outpatient procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Active PA or compact nursing license.
  • Preferred experience in procedural nursing, particularly in GI, OR, and moderate sedation.
