Job description


Nemours Children's Health- Delaware Valley is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Bayhealth Kent Hospital NICU in Dover, DE! This Advanced Practice Provider will function in both an independent and expanded collaborative role by planning and providing comprehensive, complete management of a primary caseload of critically-ill neonates/infants and their families. This position includes attendance in the delivery room for high-risk deliveries and as needed upon request.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience strongly preferred (NICU) also preferred.
  • PNP: Active Delaware or compact state Registered Nurse Licensure, Active unrestricted Delaware or compact state Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure; DE Prescriptive Authority; DE Federal DEA; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification via National Certification Center; BLS and NRP
  • PA-C: Current unrestricted Physician Assistant License to practice in the state of Delaware or compact state; National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants; DE Prescriptive Authority; DE Federal DEA; BLS and NRP
  • Excellent written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Interested applicants should possess the ability to function at a high level in an interprofessional team environment as well as an independent provider.
