Job description

Job Title: ADE – Field Sales Representative (Boston)Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to help launch a brand-new local delivery program by recruiting small businesses to join a hub delivery partner network in the Boston area. You will focus on door-to-door outreach, presenting the program to prospective businesses, qualifying leads, and guiding them through the full application process. Working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, you will also support recruitment events, build community partnerships, and manage your pipeline in Salesforce. The position involves regular travel within a two-hour driving radius and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions.

Responsibilities
  • Visit prospective small businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance.
  • Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying.
  • Qualify prospective businesses, assess fit for the program, and guide them through the complete application process.
  • Lead and manage all prospect and applicant activity in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the pipeline.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis and maintain organized records of outreach and applicant status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and newly onboarded partners, addressing questions and helping solve issues in the field.
  • Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of potential delivery partners.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency and professionalism while managing multiple prospects and tasks in a fast-paced field environment.
Essential Skills
  • 1–2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Outside or field sales experience.
  • CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Strong account management and sales skills, including the ability to prospect, qualify, and close opportunities.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple systems and technology, including spreadsheets and CRM tools.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
  • Professionalism, strong teamwork, and an enthusiastic approach to working with others.
  • High sense of urgency and the ability to manage a dynamic pipeline of prospects.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip on a daily basis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers.
  • Field sales experience beyond the minimum requirement.
  • Salesforce CRM experience specifically.
  • Bilingual language skills.
  • Interest in building community partnerships with small businesses.
  • Motivation to work in a commission-driven environment with uncapped earning potential.
Work Environment

This is a field-based role with an estimated 70/30 split between field work and administrative or remote work. You will spend approximately 3–5 days per week in the field visiting businesses and attending community events, with the remainder of your time focused on pipeline management and administrative tasks. The position requires regular travel within a two-hour driving radius, with the ability to travel up to four hours round trip in a day. You will use Salesforce as the primary CRM system and regularly work with Excel spreadsheets for data imports. The role offers uncapped commission, with earnings tied to partner applications, readiness to launch, and successful launches, as well as mileage reimbursement and a monthly phone expense allowance. You will work closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors in a collaborative, community-focused environment that emphasizes relationship building with small businesses and local organizations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
