Job Description — Project Consultant, Outside Sales
Position Overview
Your primary duty is to generate and close residential and commercial floor coating sales through in-person consultations conducted at customer locations and job sites. The core function of this role is field-based selling of our coating product lines, including epoxy, metallicepoxy, Rubaroc, quartz broadcast systems, and polished concrete.

Job Title: Project Consultant – Outside Sales (Residential and Commercial Floor Coatings)
Reports To: Sales Manager –Irma/Reggie
This is a field-based sales role. The majority of work time is expected to be spent meeting with prospects at homes, commercial properties, job sites, networking events, and community functions.
Work hours are driven by appointment volume, prospect availability, and sales activity requirements rather than a fixed office schedule.
Primary Duties and Expectations
• Conduct in-person sales consultations at residential and commercial properties
• Generate new business through canvassing, networking, referrals, and self-generated opportunities
• Follow the Mach One Epoxy Floors proven sales process and pricing structure
• Achieve and maintain a 40 percent or higher close rate
• Produce $1M or more in annual sales while protecting required margins
• Present and sell residential projects using the Mach One package system
• Sell commercial or specialty projects (metallic epoxy, Rubaroc, quartz, polished concrete) using approved non-package pricing when applicable
• Submit accurate proposals and change orders in a timely manner
• Coordinate with Operations on scopes, walkthroughs, and execution
• Represent Mach One Epoxy Floors at home shows, trade shows, expos, and community events
• Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline follow-up
• Act with professionalism, ownership, integrity, and accountability at all times
Attendance at periodic sales meetings or training sessions may be required; however, the primary duty remains outside sales activity conducted away from the company office.
Employment Classification
This role is classified as a W-2 employee under the Outside Sales Exemption.
• The primary duty is making sales.
• The majority of work is performed away from the employer's place of business.
• The position is exempt from overtime under federal law.
Compensation is processed through payroll with appropriate federal and state withholdings. RCG Global Enterprises LLC DBA Mach One Epoxy Floors pays the employer portion of required payroll taxes.
Compensation Plan
Compensation is commission-based, processed through payroll as W-2 wages. It includes a structured paid training period and a weekly draw against banked commissions.

Residential package sales
10% of total contract value
Non-package / commercial sales
18% of gross profit
Self-Generated Sales Incentive
Self-generated opportunities documented in CRM qualify for:

Non-package or commercial projects
22% of gross profit
Vehicle and Business Expenses
• Fuel card provided for business travel
• Company vehicle required once issued after probationary period 180 days
Personality Testing:
Personality testing will be taken before offer is made.
Time Off and Scheduling
As an outside sales professional, you manage your schedule based on appointment flow and sales activity. Advance communication is required for extended time off to ensure customer service continuity.

At-Will Employment
This position is at-will. Either party may terminate employment at any time with or without cause or notice. Nothing in this document alters the at-will nature of employment.
