Job description

 Customer Service Associate

The UPS Store – Liberty, MO

Do you like a fast-paced, active job working with a close team of good people?

At The UPS Store in Liberty, our customers regularly leave great reviews because we are friendly, helpful, and efficient. We take pride in solving problems quickly and getting things done well.

This job is ideal for someone who likes staying busy and takes pride in being reliable.

Many of our team members live right here in Liberty or in nearby communities like Kearney, Pleasant Valley, and North Kansas City, and they enjoy working close to home with a team that serves local customers every day.

Some members of our team are younger people starting their careers who enjoy working with a fun group and learning new skills. Others are more experienced workers who enjoy staying active, helping customers, and having an interesting job that keeps them engaged.

What they all have in common is that they enjoy working with a good team in a job where the day moves quickly and is never boring.

Many of our best team members have been dependable high school, college students, or young professionals who enjoy working with a good team and learning how a successful small business operates.

Others are mid-career and late-career professionals who enjoy working with a good team, interacting with customers, and using their rich experiences to help customers.

And here’s a small bonus: you may even save money on a gym membership. This job keeps you active — lifting boxes, carrying packages, walking around the store, and getting your steps in all day long.

Schedule

Be available to work:

- Saturday and/or Sunday: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

- Several weekdays: Noon – 7:30 PM

Your exact shifts may vary depending on staffing needs. This position works best for someone who lives within a short drive of Liberty and can reliably get to work on time.

Pay & Professional Development

We offer a professional development track with bonuses, commissions, and incentives that bring total compensation to the equivalent of $16/hour or more.

This position is also a great opportunity to learn customer service, sales, logistics, and how a small business operates.

We welcome applicants who are fluent in a second language.
