Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Administrative Operations Specialist at Nemacolin's Rod & Range Club is responsible for ensuring the organization creates and executes top quality service in our Wildlife and Fisheries department. The candidate selected for this role must be able to coordinate schedules and manage company budgets, as well as greet and communicate effectively with staff, guests, members, and trappers while maintaining an effective workflow. The Administrative Operations Specialist role also requires an individual with active problem-solving and organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Book and schedule reservations.
  • Assists with invoices and Purchase orders.
  • Coordinates corporate and N.S.C.A. events and shoots with planning, registration, and scoring.
  • Assists with the setup of all Rod & Range functions.
  • Meet and greet guests at the Rod & Range.
  • Maintain Rounds Breakdown, Commission Report, Daily Flash, and Dimensions.
  • Complete staff schedules and send them to staff on a weekly basis.
  • Complete payroll and make sure commissions are submitted bi-weekly.
  • Make sure you accurately and timely complete payroll/gratuity adjustment forms.
  • Attend weekly resume meetings and make sure that all groups for the next week are well planned for.
  • Opens and closes the Rod and Range Lodge when needed.
  • Maintain member database.
  • Get mail and run resort errands.
  • Responsible for accurately scheduling shooting reservations.
  • Accurately assisting in the scoring of tournaments.
  • Back up retail and the retail bank as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal skills.
  • Must be able to speak English.
