Title: SAP BRIM Functional Consultant – FICA

Location: Middletown, PA (Remote/Onsite for emergencies and meetings and even for in-person interview) - Candidates within 3-hour commuting distance needed

Role Overview

The SAP BRIM Functional Consultant – FICA will support the UBOS program by delivering SAP BRIM/FICA functional expertise across implementation, testing, integration, data migration, and post-go-live support activities. The consultant will collaborate with business, technical, and testing teams to ensure successful SAP S/4HANA BRIM solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BRIM / FICA Functional Support

• Support PTC’s solution delivery team in coordinating SAP BRIM activities within the UBOS program.
• Deliver functional designs and configurations for BRIM and FICA capabilities including:
• Payments
• Dunning
• Collections
• Account determination
• CI/GL integrations
• Assist BRIM architects with:
• Business Partner setup
• Contract Account configuration
• Correspondence configuration
• Event framework updates

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Lead functional testing activities for BRIM/FICA processes.
• Review and validate:
• Test scripts
• Test results
• Defect resolution
• Support testing teams with:
• Scenario design
• Test data creation
• Process expertise

Data Migration & Conversion

• Support data migration activities including:
• Data mapping
• Translation rules
• Cross-reference maintenance
• Open item conversion
• Contribute to cutover planning and readiness activities.

Post Go-Live Support

• Provide operational support for FICA processes including:
• Payment interfaces
• Dunning runs
• Settlement jobs
• Issue resolution
• Support audit and compliance activities ensuring alignment with financial controls and reporting requirements.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain Azure DevOps work items and progress tracking.
• Create and maintain:
• Functional and technical design documents
• Diagrams
• Test plans and scripts
• Impact analysis reports
• Lessons learned documentation
• Best practices documentation
• Ensure all deliverables follow Commission standards and templates.

Collaboration & Project Participation

• Collaborate with:
• Business stakeholders
• Project sponsors
• Vendors
• Technical teams
• Participate in enterprise system project activities.
• Work independently while adhering to Commission standards, policies, and procedures.

Experience

SAP BRIM Functional Analyst experience with CI and/or FICA expertise

5+ years (8+ preferred)

Full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation experience

• 3+ years of SAP BRIM experience preferred.

Education & Certifications

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Business Management
• Information Systems
• OR equivalent experience

Preferred Certifications

• SAP S/4HANA BRIM Certifications:
• BR230
• BR234

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Work Model

• Remote/virtual until further notice.
• Onsite work required in Middletown, Pennsylvania as needed.

Onsite Expectations

• Resource must attend onsite meetings:
• 1 week per month
• Possible post-go-live onsite rotations:
• 1–2 week assignments
• Orientation must be completed onsite.

Travel Requirements

• Candidates within 3-hour commuting distance:

Additional Expectations

• Use cameras during virtual meetings.
• Maintain professional appearance during meetings.
• Be available onsite within 3 hours for emergencies if required.
• Follow all Commission IT standards and procedures.
• Overtime requires prior approval.
