Job description

Automotive Sales BDC Representative

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Automotive BDC Representative to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound leads, setting sales and service appointments, and maintaining ongoing communication with customers. You will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, helping guide them through their next step in the sales or service process.

  Automotive Sales BDC Responsibilities
  • Answer and manage inbound sales calls, internet leads, and chat inquiries in a professional and timely manner

  • Ask questions to understand customer needs and match them with appropriate vehicles and sales consultants

  • Schedule and confirm sales appointments for the showroom, ensuring a smooth handoff to the sales team

  • Consistently follow up with prospects via phone, text, and email to drive show appointments and sales opportunities

  • Accurately log all customer interactions, notes, and outcomes in the CRM

  • Achieve contact, appointment, and show goals as outlined by the BDC or sales manager

  • Review your performance regularly (daily/weekly/monthly) to continuously improve results and time management


Automotive Sales BDC Requirements:
  • Previous BDC or call center experience required, with automotive experience preferred.

  • Comfortable using technology; training provided on all dealership tools and software

  • Strong customer service skills with a confident, friendly phone presence

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a positive team player

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
