Purpose of an Outside Sales Representative:

The Sales Representative will service multiple dealers across Western Canada. You must be able to commute andtravel daily within Calgary, Alberta & Surrounding Areas. The position involves building a book of business, managing a set region, and encouraging the adoption and usage of our programs within the current and future dealers in the designated area.

Success:

The goal is to have dealer agreements signed in Dealer Track (DT), application submissions, and those applications approved and funded. A Sales rep's success will be in the volume and quality of deals submitted by their dealers.

  • Prospecting: You are energetic and motivated to get the right people on the phone to create buy-in on Northlake Financial Services.
  • Dealer Engagement: You offer an exceptional client experience by providing support, the best client experience and connecting on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.
  • Problem-Solving: Listen, ask questions, and lead with empathy by putting yourself in the dealer's shoes to efficiently resolve issues.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Act like an owner by taking accountability for issues, and knowing when to collaborate and use your team to find the right solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understand of the products offered by Northlake Financial, and proactively recommending products that will help achieve their financial goals.

Requirements of an Outside Sales Representative::

  • MUST be located in the Calgary, Alberta area
  • 3-5 years of related sales experience
  • Experience sellingin indirect automotive or consumer lending, financial services is an asset
  • Post-Secondary educationin Business or Commerce is an asset
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel within the specified territory regularly
  • Dexterous in using productivity tools and end-user software including MS Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal
  • Successfultrack record of growing sales and ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
