What is commission line art?

Commission line art refers to artwork created using lines, typically in black and white, that is made upon request for a client. It is a popular service among artists who offer personalized or custom illustrations, often for uses such as tattoos, logos, book illustrations, or personal portraits. Clients usually provide a description or reference, and the artist creates a clean, outlined drawing based on those specifications. The simplicity and clarity of line art make it versatile and highly customizable. Commissioned line art can be delivered in digital or traditional formats, depending on the agreement between the artist and the client.
