Truck Driver - Full-Time, Local Location: Plymouth, WI, 53073
Glacier Transit amp; Storage is an intrastate carrier looking for full-time experienced local truck drivers.
Skills Required:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- 3+ years commercial truck driving experience
- Current Medical Card
- Ability to operate and maintain a commercial truck
- Excellent driving record
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
- Flexibility to work long hours and possibly weekends
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug test
- Knowledge of truck and refrigerated units and their operation
- Forklift experience beneficial but not required
- Inspect vehicles and report malfunctions to the Maintenance Department
- Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers as needed
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of track and trailer
