Job description

Truck Driver - Full-Time, Local Location: Plymouth, WI, 53073
Glacier Transit amp; Storage is an intrastate carrier looking for full-time experienced local truck drivers.
Skills Required:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • 3+ years commercial truck driving experience
  • Current Medical Card
  • Ability to operate and maintain a commercial truck
  • Excellent driving record
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
  • Flexibility to work long hours and possibly weekends
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug test
  • Knowledge of truck and refrigerated units and their operation
  • Forklift experience beneficial but not required
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect vehicles and report malfunctions to the Maintenance Department
  • Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate with dispatchers and customers as needed
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of track and trailer
